Our Pastors:
Guided by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Chris and Kristina Alford have devoted more than 30 years to faithfully pursuing God’s mission. Since revitalizing The City Church in 2009, their unwavering passion has brought hope, transformation, and the love of Jesus Christ to countless lives in the Tri-Cities of Northeast Tennessee.

With a vision rooted in faith, their mission is bold and inspiring: to see every man, woman, and child experience a life that is immeasurably more—overflowing with purpose, joy, and grace through Jesus Christ. Pastor Chris leads with a servant’s heart and a deep calling to empower churches in the Tri-Cities to embrace revitalization and thrive in reaching their communities.​
Through his weekly teachings, Pastor Chris challenges and inspires hearts to draw closer to Jesus, to walk boldly in faith, and to live out the abundant life they were created to experience. Their story is a testament to the power of obedience, service, and an unshakable faith in God’s plan.

Standing beside him is his devoted wife, Kristina, whose support and shared passion have amplified their impact both locally and globally. Together, their ministry has become a beacon of hope, inspiring transformation in the places where people live, work, and play—and far beyond.
